Simeon Kayode OLUBIYI, is a Professor in the Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences. University of Ilorin with 21 years university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

He has served as Coordinator and Ag. Head of Department of Nursing Science and Unit Head of Community and Public Health. His areas of research interest cover Public Health Nursing, Health Promotion, Disease Prevention, Community Mobilization and Adolescent Health.

He has to his credit over seventy publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised over 20 Masters dissertations and 10 Ph.D. theses and 7 Fellowship Programs. He has equally served as external examiner to Department of Nursing in Universities in Nigeria and participated in a research grant offered by Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. Professor Simeon Kayode Olubiyi is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
